Poetry is for strangers
Poetry is for strangers not for the loved ones. Poetry is a trip, a journey an altered state of mind; but that's not how we should talk to each other when love is the subject, and the object. Love is down to earth. Love is embodied. Love is feral it's flesh, fluids, emotions: we should never talk poetry never forget the body nor the animal when it's a matter of love. Love should be spoken simply, it should be a sober language stripped of any artifact, decluttered of all the redundancy, empty promises, lyricism it should be washed of all the you're the apple of my eye I can see a common ground all the nevers and forevers all the illusions, and delusions all the projections and expectations: love should be spoken more like do you want this, or don't you do you like the way I touch you could you do this differently, cause it hurts would you like to see me more often would you like to be my only lover would you like to create a third life...
